We differ from most other Tolkien Fan groups in that our primary focus is fellowship; our members range from all walks of life and from a variety of countires all over the world. Whether you are a casual reader of the books, a fan of Peter Jackson's LORD OF THE RINGS movies, an artist or writer inspired by the professor's imagination, or a true Tolkien scholar, you are welcome into the Gathering Community. Group Discounts
If you purchase multiple Gathering Registrations (Packages included), you are eligible for the following discounts (on the cost of the Attending Registrations):
  • Family (2 Adults plus 2 or more Children): $10 USD Off Each Registration
  • Small Group (5 or more Adults or Children): $15 USD Off Each Registration
  • Large Group (10 or more Adults or Children): $20 USD Off Each Registration
  • Student Group (10 or more Students): $25 USD Off Each Registration
Rules: Discounts are not cumulative; the maximum discount is $25 USD per Registration. Group Discounts can not be combined with other discounts (i.e. Heren Istarion or Tolkien Society discounts). "Children" are under age 13. "Students" must be enrolled in a Secondary School (age 13 or older) or Post-secondary Institution (undergraduate only) at the time of the Gathering, and each must provide proof of such when arriving at the event. Groups must be declared at time of purchase; groups may NOT be formed/consolidated after Registration purchase/confirmation. This ticket allows admission to the special Canada Day Picnic at the Toronto Island Park, a short ferry ride across the harbour from downtown Toronto.
