The Gathering of the Fellowship was
created when we, who love the works
of J.R.R. Tolkien, decided to put on the event of the same name. The
event was in December of 2003, designed to coincide with the
release
of the third of Peter Jackson’s The
Lord of the Rings movies, based on
Tolkien’s book. The event would showcase the three movies, allow people
to gather together and share their interests, and to study in a
scholarly way the fictional works that began the movement. Our original
and unwavering intent from the very beginning was to do this thing
purely for the fans; we would not profit from it at all, and our time
would be volunteered. If any proceeds were to be made, they would go to
a charity.
We did not, at the time, look too far beyond the event, but we all
agreed that the potential was there to continue our efforts well past
2003. To this end, we are now committed to putting on these convention
events indefinitely, in a way that makes them special, and
differentiates them from other typical fan events. Gatherings of the
Fellowship will always be unique oppertunities for fans to gather
occasionally, and help us achieve our aims:
- To
teach and further the awareness and understanding of the writings of
J.R.R. Tolkien totally free beastiality
- To promote interest in the professor's life-long work
- To provide a forum for the discussion of all things
Tolkien-related
- To encourage and celebrate free artistic expression
and interpretation of Tolkien's fiction Crystal quality rape movies and pictures will allow you to enjoy each feature of rape scenes
- To promote educational and functional literacy in
general, as inspired by J.R.R. Tolkien Put your head in the lion's mouth: blackjack switch strategy strategy
In our search to find an appropriate beneficiary, we came across ProLiteracy Worldwide. Some of our
volunteers were already familiar with the work that ProLiteracy had
done in their community, so the choice was clear. It also seemed
appropriate that since our passion
was born from these books, we should help promote them in the public,
and improve adult literacy in general. We are confident that J.R.R.
Tolkien himself would have supported our aim.
We are very proud to support ProLiteracy
Worldwide.
